Hello!
How excited are you guys right now?! Because SB officially begins in 2 days, and I’m so ready. It’s so funny because I’m actually not going anywhere but my hometown and I’m still pumped! I just cannot wait to be glued to my couch watching on demand movies all week long!!! (and studying for a chem exam…we’ll just forget about that). This weather has been so nice, it was nearly 70 degrees today and everyone was outside enjoying the weather! So many people out running and making me feel guilty that I didn’t exercise this week…and so much frisbee! Today, IU looked like one of those college campuses from the movies where everyone is outside on the quad, relaxing, throwing a football, reading under a tree. So picturesque. And have you noticed everyone’s very positive attitudes? It’s so nice for a change! Even the extremely rude 9 bus route woman driver person was acting like a human! Which freaked everyone out a little, but it was a nice change of pace, really! I noticed smiles glued on everyone’s faces today as they peered outside the windows of their stuffy Ballantine classrooms. I even wore sunscreen today! On my arms! That’s because it was actually warm enough not to wear a big fluffy winter coat, and the wind wasn’t blowing sideways and the sun was shiny and always visible! Perfect Day!!!
Before I go, I have tips for Spring Break:
1. Please wear sunscreen. Not only will you look younger, you will save yourself so much money later in life instead of throwing it away on cosmetic procedures! No one wants mutated skin and excessive apoptosis! Anything over SPF 30 you really shouldn’t stress about. And ladies, make-up with SPF is not enough so wear suncreen on your face under it!
2. Double knot your bathing suit. It’s no fun when it flies off and it ends up reported on college acb in the morning.
3. Please be careful, don’t be dumb, and don’t get lost.
