Can you believe it?! “Dead week” is here, and it seems impossible that it’s time for finals already. It seems like I just got here, and now my freshman year of college is nearly over. This will be my first set of many finals that I’m not looking forward to. It’s so hard to believe that pretty soon the rest of these years are going to fly by and I’m going to have to get a real job, and pay for things. WOW. I mean, I realized all of this before, but it’s becoming more real as the year moves on. I can’t even imagine how the graduates are feeling at this time. I know they probably feel like they just got here too. HOW SAD! Of course this is a very happy and exciting time, but it must be frightening at the same time too.
Oh and by the way, on a not so sentimental note…it’s about 3am and I’m watching the movie, “Alpha Dog”. Can I just say that this programming really reaches out to a unique audience. Not only is this movie rough and makes me feel like my life is gold, but the commercials that I’ve seen in the last 3 minutes have been telling. Apparently, the types of people who are awake right now (excluding me and my roommates of course) need hemmorroid creams, lumineers, life insurance, and hired tax analysts. Again, I am loving my life.
On that very tired and slap happy note, I’m going to bed. I hope you guys have been studying for those finals! Soon you’ll find that all of your hard work has paid off! Summer will be here sooner than you know! Or in 8 days! Good Luck until next time and maybe I’ll see you in the stacks?
